About Bill Schantz
As Founder & CEO of Mid Atlantic Financial, LLC, Bill Schantz manages a diversified portfolio of companies. This includes his first, Senior Settlements, LLC, SS lllc was established three decades ago, and was conspicuous for 1) its initial transaction, a $150 Million deal with Investment Bank Bear Stearns, and 2) his introduction of "Life Settlements" into the capital markets.
During a storied career spent working with clients such as Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and so many more, he Has established a reputation for excellence meshed together with a heart of gold.
Throughout his career, he has been the biggest cheerleader for life settlements, and creator of several Settlement life investment funds that have made it possible for those from outside the financial community to invest.
Mr. Schantz is a graduate of Villanova University, where he received his degree in political Science. Happily married for over 40 years, He is the proud father of 5 children and the doting grandfather to 11.
An active member of his industry sector, Mr. Schantz belongs to the Life Insurance Settlement Association, and regularly attends professional events related to structured finance. He is a big believer in giving back,
Together with his wife, he is involved in many charities, such as Wills Eye Hospital, Noelle's light, Ronald McDonald house, Missionaries of the Poor, and the March of Dimes.
